Four regions will have power outages on Monday, according to a statement from Kenya Power.

From 9 am until 5 pm, the business warned there will be interruptions.

The regions are North Easter, Mout Kenya, Nairobi, and North Rift.

 

Mwimuto, NSSF Kitsuru, Tate Close, Forward Close, and nearby customers will face a power outage in Nairobi.

Blackouts will occur in the Kiambu communities of Ikuma, Kiamwangi, Nginduri Gatitu Girls, Muhoho High, Gitare, Kiganjo, Chura, Handdege, Ihura, Gitwe, Gachika, Theta Tea Factory, Mundoro, Gathiru, Gathiriga, and Karongi.

From 9 am to 3 pm, there will be no power for the residents of Trans Nzoia.

 

Areas to be affected in the region are; inyereri, Namba Nne, Co-operative, Sitatunga, Kabolet, Kapsara Mkt, Kapsara Factory.

In Muranga, the major areas will be Kiruti, Ichichi, and Kangari. 

Other areas to be affected are; Karurumo, Kiruri Market, Ichichi Market, Gatara Market Mununga High, Gathaithi Market, Kaganda, Gacharage, Gikoe, Mukama, Boro, Kinyona, Karinga. 

Kangari Market, Ikmubi, Marira, Kigumo, Muthithi, Kirere, Marumi, Ngonda, Gatumbi, Githumu, Kigoro, Nduyu chege, Kanerendu, Makomboki, Kiriaini, Gathanji and Rwegetha will experience shutdown.
