Jalang'o's surprising verdict when comparing KRG and Stevo Simple Boy
The politician had a lot to say about the two musicians during KRG's birthday
Lang'ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang'o has claimed that no artist is above KRG in Kenya musically except rapper Stevo Simple Boy.
Speaking on Wednesday evening at the launch event of KRG's collaboration with Konshens - Time Bomb, Jalang'o praised KRG greatly saying that many think that the artist who claims to be rich has no talent but the truth is that his talent is still very raw.
"That song is very strong, I think for a long time KRG has been deceiving people that he has no talent but with this he has done it justice.
KRG has been talented for a long time, he has shot shows and sung big drums," Jalang'o said.
"...I tell him to go where he is and to keep pushing. The only artist currently in Kenya who is above KRG is Stevo Simple Boy alone, the others are below.
Only Stevo is above KRG," Jalang'o added.
He praised Stevo Simple Boy saying that he currently has no competitor. The MP also claimed to have memorized almost all of Stevo's songs.
"I know his [Stevo] songs like all of them. That is dangerous. You know I've been a fan of Stevo for a while, since 'you guys should stop using drugs' until he started dating Pritty Vishy until the other day he stopped greeting her," Jalang'o said.
