Meanwhile, her lover, Kevin Sowax called her to wish her a happy birthday. The two were seen together in August months after they started dating.

Speaking to journalists while they were in Tanzanian, Kevin said;

"I didn't know she was a celebrity while hitting on her, I swear, I didn't know. We were just getting into this... but for me it doesn't change anything because Hamisa is just Hamisa,"

He went on to add;

"Like the way I know her, I knew her before it all (knowing she's famous) it took me about 3 or 4 days to know that she actually a superstar superstar,"

On whether there were plans to tie the knot soon, Sowa said;

"We have the plans, by God's will, it will happen."

The couple met in China and Kevin maintains it was love at first sight.
