During the morning show hosted by Kwambox, she discussed the ongoing protests in Uganda, noting that more people are protesting online than on the ground.

"Yesterday, of course, Kenyans have been in protest mode for almost a month now, and you guys don't know how you're influencing other countries. Every time I listen to Nigeria's senate proceedings, Kenyan youths, especially Gen Z, are mentioned," Kwambox said.

"Uganda decided yesterday that enough is enough and they took to the streets, demanding the speaker step down, an end to corruption, and fair government appointments. Let me tell you, Maina, it was so crazy. I was watching scenes from Uganda and asked myself, what is Uganda's population? The noise online compared to on the ground is so different."

The host explained how a Ugandan TikToker lamented online about the low turnout for the ground protests despite the significant online activism.

"The few who showed up were quite courageous, holding placards while being beaten by the police for appearing on the streets. Even before they started at 6 am, the streets were filled with police. The officers were everywhere," Kwambox said.

"But I asked myself, why didn't more people show up? They were talking about peaceful protests, so why didn't they come out until the police were already there? That's when I realized, this isn't Kenya, this is Uganda."
