Nigeria has produced amazing artiste including female artistes such as Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage who have taken African music to the rest of the world.

Tiwa was recently signed by Universal Music Group and Yemi Alade just released the remix to Oh My Gosh featuring Rick Ross.

Of course, there is a form of silent competition which may have lead to silent beef. None of them have come out to say that they are not in good terms with each other, but we can all see it.

The big question has always been why haven't the two ever worked on a collaboration together to create a massive tune?

Same case with Davido and WizKid. Top Nigerian male artistes but no collabo. Well at least for them, they have sung along to each other's songs in clubs, parties and social media but for Tiwa and Yemi, nothing.

Well, Yemi had an answer to the question if the two are not in good terms. Speaking to The Scoop, she gave the condition in which she will work with Tiwa Savage.

If it is the will of God. We, female artistes, are all doing great things and putting music out there. Being the biggest female artiste or not, I am very happy where I’m and I’m happy for other females in the industry.

So is there beef between the two of them?

that is an irrelevant question. We are here for the music. so, let’s keep our focus on the music.

After such a harsh statement, the interviewer went on to talk music. Yemi was asked to give her experience working with one of the biggest artistes in the rap game, Rick Ross.

When I saw an opportunity to collaborate with Rick Ross, I grabbed it. Working with him was an amazing experience. he is an inspiration.

This year, Yemi Alade plans to tour the world with the music and create more music with international artistes.
