Who is excited to hear a Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo track? I know I am and this is finally possible after the two made peace and even hang out together.

I am not too sure whether or not we have Muthoni Drummer Queen (MDQ) to thank for this but what I do know is that this is an immensely good look for the Kenyan hip-hop and entertainment scene.

It should be remembered that the beef started when Khaligraph Jones launched an unprovoked series of jabs at Octopizzo and the latter was not too happy to be named in such light by the then-unknown Khaligraph Jones who was an oddity to Kenya’s rap elite because he insisted on rapping in an American accent.

Infact, so unpopular was his style of rapping that when he first took to the stage to perform in his early years, he was booed off stage.

And since the day they started beefing, Octopizzo and Khaligraph have sent both direct disses and subliminal jabs at each other in what for its time made for an entertaining dance of hip-hop aggression but now the time is right to see these entertainment heavyweights make peace and work together like Jay Z and Nas.
