In a message going viral through social media, they are asking for help to raise sh11.5 million. Ben's younger sister was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (blood cancer). The money will cater for chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
the results came in and the doctors confirmed that it was Acute Myeloid Leukemia💔💔 (simply put, blood cancer) and she would need to go to India for Chemotherapy and ultimately a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Joy, Ben Cyoc's sister, developed health complications last year and was diagnosed with low blood count up until the symptoms persisted.
Sometime last year Joy (@Ben Cyco small sister), developed some health complications and was rushed to Nairobi West Hospital where she was diagnosed with low blood count that we brushed off as something that could be managed by diet and simple meds. But the issue persisted and upon doctors advise, she underwent several blood tests that took weeks to confirm.
She's okay for now and even goes to school but she needs to get treatment before the condition worsens or it will be too late to arrest it.
We are planning to go to India for treatment. The cost of treatment is estimated to be Ksh 11.5M should the doctors there confirm that she needs a bone marrow transplant. I am appealing for your help. Help us beat cancer not only financially but also through your prayers.
