Word reaching us is that Betty Kyallo has a new TV gig.

Betty will be joining K24 where she is set to spearhead the revamping of the Friday night news show.

Since her exit from KTN early last month, Betty has kept a low profile, only updating her online followers on her vacations and road trips.

K24 recently poached Royal Media’s top radio talents Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o and Jacky Nyaminde alias Wilbroda.

Citizen Radio's Joyce Gituro and Francis Luchivya exited to join Mediamax.

This new move by the media house will see the reshuffling of news readers in the Kijabe Street media house.

Sources claim that Betty will be at the fore front of plans to repackage K24’s English evening news team. She will replace Richard Kagoe, who joined BBC, and Michelle Morgan, who left the Tv station to "pursue personal interests".

Her first day on air is set for November 23 where Betty will headline the station’s Weekend Edition. This means that Anjlee Gadhvi, who currently reads the news at that time slot will be reassigned.

Media pundits claim that Betty will play a good role in revamping the stations outlook by bringing her unconventional pizzazz to the Mediamax owned TV station.

Various media outlets have whispered that Media Max K24 has offered Betty Kyalo upwards of Ksh 600,000 to have her in the station. Betty is yet to officially speak out about this position.
