Betty Kyallo has gained some courage during this quarantine time so she decided to do a Q&A segment on social media.

She answered the question with the help of her sister, Gloria, on her IGTV in a two-part series where she was bold and true.

Of course, the most common question was on relationships and marriage.

One of her followers asked what is the biggest regret in her life and she had a lot to say. It was everything to do with her marriage to Dennis Okari.

“I think it was getting married a bit too young because I was 26. This is for me as Betty. At 26 I don’t think I had really seen my full potential or like I hadn’t lived life, I hadn’t seen or explored life by myself and I think that’s it. There’s no issue with that, it happened but it wasn't ati a mistake as such. It was just something that you know if I was to re-do that part of my life, probably I would have waited a bit.” Betty Kyallo said

She then added it is important to know yourself before jumping into a forever life commitment.

"Maybe right now, or 2 years from now it doesn’t matter when I’ll feel ready. I should have chilled nilikuwa na mbio but this is for me, if you want to get married at 26, just do you. For me I think now I’m more mature,i more in touch with myself, I know who I am it makes it easy for me to let in somebody because i know myself" She added

In line with that, Betty also revealed that for the longest time after her divorce, she vowed never to get married again.

After my divorce, for the longest time, I was not up for the marriage idea but now I know what to look out for and I know what went wrong so slowly I am finding myself warming up to the idea of marriage and thinking okay I can. And yes I have to give Ivanna a sibling.

From the IGTV videos, you could tell Betty is in a happy place of self-discovery and understanding in as much as she has been through a lot.

Self-growth is important because it comes with new revelations.
