After Beyonce released her Homecoming documentary on Netflix, the beehive went wild.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama took to her Twitter on Thursday to offer some sisterly love and congratulate Beyoncé on her successful Netflix documentary.
The supportive gesture comes just a day after Beyoncé released ‘Homecoming’ on the popular streaming site and after the trailblazer honored Obama in this week’s Time 100 issue.
‘So proud of my girl! The Queen has done it again. @Beyonce, thank you for always living your truth. #Homecoming,’ Michelle said in the tweet’s caption.
She continued: I’d say I’m surprised but I know who you are. I’ve seen it up close and personal.’
The two first met in 2009 for Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration and have had a close relationship ever since, often raising a glass to each other in grand gestures.
‘Girl, you make me so proud and I love you,’ Obama added. ‘I also love that your new Netflix film, Homecoming is informed by the black leaders, thinkers, and poets who’ve paved the way for folks like us.
The beehive were also too jazzed, they even proclaimed that Beyonce is bigger than Michael Jackson. She is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
Here are reactions to that premise.
Michael Jackson didn't die for some '94 kids to compare him with Beyonce.

No one should compare Beyoncé to Michael Jackson. She is inarguably the most accomplished female in the game right now. She’s so successful she needs no validation.
However, do not compare her to Michael Jackson. Everything she has achieved is belittled the moment you do this. pic.twitter.com/40QSvPaCsm

Man: Hey, what’s your password?
Daughter: Oh, it’s the greatest artiste/performer of all time
Man: *Enters “Michael Jackson”* Yo, it says ‘incorrect’, isn’t it MJ?
Daughter: Lol no, it’s Beyoncé

On my timeline, I've read more than 10 tweets saying "Michael Jackson will do this and girls will start fainting"
I'm not into the Beyonce is greater than Michael Jackson clout though, but since when did we start using the numbers of faints to know if you're the GOAT or not?

Beyoncé always loved and respected Michael Jackson. She always saw him as her hero and inspiration, saying she wouldn‘t be where she is if it wasn‘t for him. She would be disappointed seeing how some of her fans talk about him. Stop comparing them and respect both. pic.twitter.com/7WrjdNgnjG

No artist could match the effect of Michael Jackson. No artist alive has come close to matching the effect of Michael. He was beyond music and entertainment, he was a global force of nature. I can’t mention his name in this tweet with any entertainer. That would be sacrilegious! pic.twitter.com/mLzJLjzzVf
