Cameron Boyce's mother has broken her social media silence two weeks after her son passed away at the age of 20.

Libby Boyce took to Instagram on Saturday and shared a black-and-white photo of the Disney Channel star with his arms wrapped around her in a sweet embrace.

He is my compass ❤️,

She captioned the post

In the picture, Cameron has his eyes closed as he leaned his right cheek next to his mother's face.

For her part, Libby flashed a big beaming smile that oozed: proud mom.

An official cause of death has yet to be released by the coroner following an autopsy, but it's believed Cameron passed away from an alleged epileptic seizure.

His roommate found him unresponsive in his bed at his Los Angeles home July 6, and paramedics could not revive him.

The California native's family have said he suffered from seizures relating to his epilepsy.

Just days ago, it was revealed that he was cremated and his ashes were given to his father Victor Boyce, 57.

I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy, he wrote July 10. The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation.

His father has since announced the establishment of The Cameron Boyce Foundation. It seeks to provide young people with 'artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity.'

The actor was involved in philanthropy and had supported charitable work helping the homeless in the US and aid to bring clean water to underdeveloped countries.

Cameron made his film debut came in 2008's Mirrors, which led to his role as Luke Ross in Disney's comedy series Jessie. His resume also included feature films Eagle Eye, Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2, as well as all three Descendants movies starting in 2015.
