By now it's quite clear that this has been Cassper Nyovest's year as he has been making shmoney moves and things have been working out for him.
This weekend was quite special for the ninja as he got to share the same stage with the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, Chris Martin, Usher, Pharrell William among others at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg.
We even got to witness Chris Martin tie his shoe lace live on stage, and as you Chris is a really big star, so that's a big deal.
Well, that's not the only thing that went great for Cassper during the weekend. On Friday, he released an EP titled Sweet and Short. Now the most interesting part is that the EP went platinum in just one day. I mean, that doesn't happen often, especially for an African artiste.
He took to social media to share the great news writing, "Shut down two stadiums back-to-back, my album Sweet and Short went platinum in a day. I also released an amazing record with Stormzy and Chris Martin called Timbuktu. This has been an amazing weekend for me. Blessings! God is good. Now I just wanna chill and swim."
