Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda aka Wakavinye have been together for a while now and with that, they have developed a tight relationship full of understanding.

For a relationship to last that long and strong, there needs to be a balance on how to deal with issues.

Speaking to Dr. King'ori, Njugush said his long term friendship with Celestine has helped them navigate through certain issues in their marriage as well as help them make decisions when it comes to finances.

Njugush disclosed that when he was in school, Wakavinye was his ‘sponsor’, catering for his food and airtime since his pocket money would get depleted by the 5th of every month.

“When it comes to money, I’m so lucky to have broken that ice, coz most of the time when you work together or differently mnaandikiananga nani anapaswa kununua kiti ama kuleta chakula ya kuku. But in this case how it all started, yeye ndio alikua sponsor, yeye ndio alikua ananisort akiwa first year. Somehow mimi sikuwa na kakitu because in college kuna ile pesa nilikua napatiwa na ikipita hapo siezi zidisha, so siezi itisha doo” Njugush said

They are so transparent with their finances that when the roles reversed Celestine was handling his ATM.

“When I started making few coins yeye hakua anamake as much, however it was not hard for me, actually yeye ndio alikua incharge of my ATM, yeye ndio alikua anaoperate doh from hiyo time” he added

You've heard many marriages break because of finances but for the Njugush's, they have found a balance. They combine the income they each earn and create a budget from that so that none of them has a bigger burden than the other.

Wakavinye revealed that they did not have a dream of getting married but that came later on because when they started they were just friends.

They may look all lovely and cute but it has not been all rosy. She recalls a time they have each taken a break from each other but they did not quit on each other.

“when you are married and umetulia, and you know a hundred percent ni huyu nikona yeye nataka kupata mtoi na yeye na umeoa theres no going back. If you truly love that person, you have differences even major ones but at the end of the day you’ll have a way to work around them" concluded Njugush.

That is what we call love. The two are planning for an event on the 15th of February for their fans. Even business for their home comes with the two working together, they work out together and build their marriage together.

Moral of the story is, do not give up on the one you love, the best is yet to come.
