A video of her looking off went viral last week and Kenyans were ready to come together and help her rehabilitate.
Chipukeezy who is a director at NACADA was willing to fly her to Nairobi for rehabilitation and on that same Sonko's rescue team was also on site.
This looked like there was some trouble between the Nairobi Governors team and NACADA team. When the media heard the news on Conjestina's return to Nairobi, they were present and of course they asked on the standoff between the two teams.
Chipukeezy was present to answer the press saying that there was really no standoff. Both teams were there for one goal but they just needed to be on the same page and looking like there was competition on who came through first.
There wasn’t a standoff. We were just trying to have a conversation with the Governor’s team to tell them that we are doing a good thing, it’s a good cause for all of us. So let’s do it pamoja, let’s not look like everyone is doing their own thing.

Chipukeezy appreciated the fact that Sonko's team was available but he also made it clear that as NACADA, it is his job to take Conjestina to the right rehab to avoid a backslide.
Speaking as NACADA, we know the best rehab that can take care of her, we just don’t want to rehabilitate her and take her home. We will still have the same conversation again after a while so really what we are trying to do is be on the same page.
