Ciara’s legal team have asked a court to enforce mediation with her ex partner Future over their son Future Jr’s schedule.
According to a new report from TMZ, legal documents show the singer wants to finalise her son’s travel arrangements once and for all, and believes mediation is the only way to settle the case.
If the judge won’t force Future into mediation, Ciara wants a trial after growing increasingly frustrated by months of back and forth, TMZ claim.
Back in April Ciara claimed in court documents that her ex Future has been missing scheduled visits with their son.
The singer outlined the rapper’s absenteeism while seeking a mediator to change visitation rights, according to an article by TMZ.
Ciara claimed that Future, real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, missed 37 percent of his scheduled visits with his son, according to court papers.
The Goodies singer also claimed that Future often bails at the last moment wrecking her schedule.
Ciara in court papers also alleged that when her son visits in Georgia, he spends the majority of his time with his grandmother and great-grandmother.
She also said her son has health issues exacerbated by the cross-country flying and his flight fatigue has lead to emotional breakdowns at school, according to court documents.
Even back in April Ciara was asking the court for mediation to change his visitation schedule for the boy’s health.
