She's topped the charts, married the man she loves, and reinvented herself as a fashion model.
But for all the excitement in Ciara's world, it is her role as a mother that most gives her life meaning.
Covering Hong Kong men's lifestyle magazine Legend, the 30-year-old opened up about parenting her two-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn.
She gushed: 'Motherhood, oh my gosh, it’s one of the best jobs in life.
'There’s no better feeling than coming back and seeing him smile after a long day.'
And she said the day to day tasks of parenting gave her gilded life as a celebrity true meaning.
'You put him in a bath, you put him in bed, read a book, those moments... keep life in perspective because all your child wants from you is love.
'They don’t care about a lot of the things we care about anyway. Being a mom is part of what motivates me in my every day life.'
And Ciara said her son's well being was behind every decision she made.
'It makes you really understand the definition of being responsible. Because now it’s like, every decision I make affects not only my life, but it affects his life.'
The Goodies singer said life as a mom meant she was no longer a perfectionist.
'That pure love, that instant love makes you realise a lot of things don’t matter. I can see that now, and focus on things that really matter.
'You also understand love much better. It’s the greatest force, the greatest thing. Before this, I don’t think I understood love honestly, but now I’m better at love, better at loving, better at patience.'
Ciara also opened up about the other man in her life - her new husband.
And three months on from her romantic wedding to football quarterback Russell Wilson, Ciara is still gushing about her nuptials.
'I definitely can say it was two of the most perfect days in my life,' she said of her July wedding.
The couple married at the historic Peckforton Castle in the English countryside.
