Daddy Owen for a while back in the day was the go-to Kenyan celebrity. Daddy Owen was the first truly crossover artiste who managed to transcend from gospel and eventually became a pop star.

And then he had his glow up. That was when his dressing was spruced up, his videos got a visible bump in quality and he gave us bangers such as Vanity and Wewe Ni Mungu.
