What many don’t know is that Tanzanian hot shot, Mbosso, was dropped from the worldwide hit song ‘John Cena’ by Sho Madjozi.

Damn imagine Mbosso the master of love song serenading us with his mashairi in that jam!

Anyway back to the main point, Diamond’s brother and WCB’s official Dj, Rommy Jones is the bird behind this juice.

Jones revealed that everything was in place and the collabo was ready until ‘Colours’ came along.

“SHO MADJOZI AND I ARE FRIENDS, WE MET ON INSTAGRAM AND BECAME CLOSE AND WE FINALLY MET. SHE INTRODUCED ME TO HER PRODUCER T-BOY WHO SENT ME A BEAT.” Said Jones.

AT THE TIME SHE WAS IN TANZANIA AND WE WENT TO STUDIO AND DID THE FIRST VERSE AND CHORUS. I SUGGESTED MBOSSO AND HE CAME AND DID HIS VERSE.

On how exactly Mbosso was dropped from the club banger, Jones said.

AFTER THE SONG WAS COMPLETE, SHE WENT FOR A TOUR IN EUROPE AND MET WITH ‘COLOURS.’ WHEN WORKING WITH COLOURS, YOU NEED TO HAVE A NEW SONG THAT YOU HAVE NEVER RELEASED. AT THE TIME SHE DIDN’T HAVE SONG SO SHE CALLED ME AND ASKED IF SHE CAN USE THE SONG FOR THAT PROJECT.

Despite not being credited for the song, Jones added that he gave out the song for free and believes it’s the reason it went on to conquer charts.

‘I LEFT THE SONG TO HER, I DIDN’T ASK FOR MONEY OR ANYTHING AND THATS HOW THE SONG BECAME BIG. EVERYTHING HAS A REASON.’

Jones has recorded another project with Madjozi but this time round, Mbosso is not included.

‘WE HAVE A SONG ALREADY WITH SHO MADJOZI AND THE VIDEO IS READY.’
