DJ Mo was one of the celebrity star power in attendance at Daddy Owen’s glitzy award ceremony, Malaika Tribute Awards.

Hosted at Laico Regency, the who is who was at hand to cheer on people living with a disability, who are making a change in society.


On the sideline, DJ Mo spoke to Kiss100.co.ke about a number of issues.

The Cross Over 101 TV host together with wife, Size 8 is still grieving the loss of their second child.

Speaking about it he said, “It is a sad moment.”

Adding, “I always say everything has a reason and we don’t blame God. So there is always a reason for everything. It was a low moment for us but at the end of the day don’t blame God. Just move on.”

Size 8 broke the sad news in December. She wrote on her Instagram, “God is the giver of life and God is perfect no man is, He alone knows what is best for us. I’m writing this, maybe to someone, it will be an encouragement.”

She added, “Rumours were in many blogs that I was pregnant but I never did really confirm it is because it was a battle all the way. So, I just wanted to go with the fight privately. But God decided the best lane for me and I lost the pregnancy juzi.”

Size 8 continued,  “To be honest, I’ve cried, I’ve asked God so many questions I have given my husband stress. He is trying to make me be okay, I was so angry…..my faith in God has been greatly tested…”

DJ Mo also offered to advise for young couples looking to get hitched. He said:

“Very simple. Marry your friend. And marry someone you can tolerate. That is it.

2019 plans include shooting their family-oriented reality show, the Murayas that has been posted on Youtube.

He finally addressed the never-ending rumours of his purported infidelity to gospel star and TV host Size 8.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinions. So, kama hatuja achana (We have not split)  someone should be ashamed [for spreading such rumours]. Let me tell you something, don’t believe in rumours. If we are still strong they know that…by the way hatuachani (we are not separating).”
