DJ Mo is on his entrepreneurial tip. He recently opened a boutique that boasts a barbershop, salon and car wash all in one. Talk about a triple threat. The venture is situated along Dennis Pritt Road, opposite St. Georges girls.

It was at the official opening of the venture that we spoke to him and he acquiesced and answered a couple of questions we had about his personal life and marriage to gospel star Size 8.

And DJ Mo told us a little about what gives his matrimony longevity: putting God first. Well, that and tolerating each other.

As he put it, marriage isn't a walk in the park. He and his wife Size 8 have learnt to be real with each other. They keep it 100.

That then begged the question of why he doesn't wear a wedding ring to which he replied:

Because a wedding ring doesn’t really mean anything…o.k it is a symbol of if someone is married. I wear it when I am on going on shows. 1. The rings react with me (maybe an allergic reaction). 2. I don’t believe a person wearing a ring means that they are faithful or it shows that the love is in their heart.

Interestingly, he was asked whether he had noticed that his daughter Ladasha and Dj Pierra’s daughter looked alike. His response was a cheeky:

Children look alike when they are young and now that they are the children of two Dj’s…
