Veteran Kenyan singer Amani is not just talented with a magical voice but is also very beautiful and down to earth.
Amani, real name, Cecilia Wairimu has over the years proved to be one of the best in East Africa’s music industry, with some of the most played and listened to singles and collaborations.
Some of the popular songs from Amani include; Bad Boy featuring Nyashinski, Missing My Baby, Tonight, Heart-breaker, Tamani, Without You and others.
Though Amani likes to keep her private life under wraps, the stunning lass is actually in a committed relationship and is engaged to a hunk Nigerian man, by the name, Chinasa Udeala, whom she like to keep off from social media.
Amani, who was the only Kenyan and the only lady, worked with R. Kelly alongside artists like Ali Kiba, Navio, Fally Ipupa, 2face Idibia, JK, 4*4 and Movazeleine. The song titled “Hands Across the World” made it to the billboard 100 and had over 1 million downloads in Africa.
How did Amani feel after achieving such a tremendous achievement, of singing with the biggest R&B singer in the world? Many would ask? It’s a chance many African and Kenyan artistes would die for.
Well, Amani had a chat with former NTV host, Sheila Mwanyigha and talked about her experience meeting R Kelly, and also talked about her new venture with a new hair product for crochet braids, and of course, the plans she has with her music.
