The MTV Africa Music Awards went down on Saturday (October 22) in Johannesburg, South Africa. American superstar Future was the headlining act and made his fans dance their hearts out as he performed some of his mega hits.

Artistes from different countries won awards left, right and center with Sauti Sol grabbing the best group award and yes, we are proud of them.

But some went home empty handed. Uganda's finest Eddy Kenzo was not a happy man as he lost to South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest in the Best Live Act category. Well he has a lot to say about it. In a long post he put up on social media, he has accused the organisers of foul play and claims he was cheated.

He wrote, "I'm airtel ambassador MTN is the main sponsor 4 mamas and the winner in my category is mtn ambassador south Africa, Hehehe just for just. Remember!! I have performed in over 35 countries 10 of them full stadium what else? they told us to vote and my fans did go on all @mtvbaseafrica platforms click on #Bestliveact and see the winner by your self I'm not being jealous here, but I do complain because they told us to vote and the fans decide. go back and check their posts down thats what they said even in emails.
