Gwen Stefani was revealed as a global ambassador for Revlon on Monday, and she's got the photo-shoot to prove it.

Flashing a peace sign for the camera in one picture, she beamed whilst wearing a strapless floral lace top with no sides and a good deal of bare skin between.

In a statement provided by the company, the 47-year-old recalled: 'Ever since I was a young girl, I have used makeup as a form of self-expression.'

Her trademark bright red lips were, indeed, in evidence in the Revlon shoot, as was her perfectly coiffed platinum blonde hair.

Another photo saw her stood in black tights that accented her pencil thin legs, as well as a black top streaked with sections of sheer fabric.

'I am passionate about makeup and how it can showcase your individuality and creativity,' she continued in her statement.

'Partnering with an iconic beauty brand such as Revlon felt like a natural fit,' she plugged. 'I am so excited to continue sharing my love of makeup as a Revlon.'

She'll be appearing in ads in the latter part of this month in order to promote the company's new Choose Love campaign.

'Revlon's Choose Love message is an important one,' said the statement, 'and I am very excited for the opportunity to partner with Revlon and continue the spreading this message of positivity and love.'

The pop star, who in 2015 ignited a romance with her The Voice co-judge Blake Shelton, told WND Revlon was 'so smart to pick me,' explaining that the campaign's theme 'is really where my heart is.'

Other ambassadors have included Emma Stone, Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde and Ciara. Stefani, the newest addition, has experience in the area of cosmetics.

'I was a makeup artist when I was in my early twenties at the mall, they never trained me,' she dished to WND.

'I worked behind the counter there for Borghese, which nobody bought because it was expensive, and Ultima II, which I think is actually owned by Revlon.'
