Celebrated female gospel singer Kambua recently found herself in a weird situation after she was bashed by many for grabbing a mic from Jeff Kuria, who is her colleague at Inooro TV.

All this drama happened during the Vuka Mwaka Party that took place at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

Most of Jeff's fans/followers thought that it was rude of Kambua to grab the mic from Jeff as he was still using it.

As if that was not enough, others claimed that Kambua hogged the mic and didn't give her co-hosts the chance to also do their job.

Well, Kambua finally decided to address the issue, stating that she is not in any way trying to explain anything, but went ahead to apologise to Jeff, before pulling down the post.

She wrote, "Well, we are finally back in Nairobi. And yes, I have seen and read all (or most) of your comments. With all the stones being flung my way, I will in no way try to explain anything. So allow me to say this specifically to Jeff Kuria (my colleague at Inooro), and his fans as a whole. For all that may/may not have happened yesterday, I apologise. I'd hate to start this year with any bad blood. I value all of you, even the criticism (good and bad). Happy New Year. K"

Kambua's fans came out in numbers to defend her with #istandwithkambua.

Read some of the posts from her fans;

enidmoraa: KAMBUA So much has been said in the last few days about you but we know you, we know your heart, and so we stand by you.

That you apologised even when you were not on the wrong is testament to the phenomenal woman you are. We love you K.

hypegad_254: For the shortest time I've known Kambua, I've realized that she's very caring and supportive. She has a big heart and is mindful of everything. It's very evident that people are always on standby for criticism and insults. We are all human and we make mistakes. Whether she did anything wrong or not, attacking her on social media is wrong.

timametimame: To my kind and ever gentle sister, many people will say what they want to say, but they don’t know you like we do 💕 You’re always there when others need you and now we are here for you

hopekidhk: I will back you up even if you start a fight, coz you are my true friend, through thick and thin..

fridah_mwaka: Sometimes we need people to simply be there.Not to fix anything or to do anything in particular but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.

You are one special person in my life and for this reason
