For non Kenyans, Jamhuri Day is a national holiday in Kenya, celebrated on 12 December each year to mark when Kenya gained its independence.
The Red Tunic is the ceremonial dress for the Kenya Army. Commander-in-Chief Uhuru is presenting colors to an Army Battalion, first time it is happening in Kenyan history.
