Basically, what Harmonize is doing is nothing new as artistes often tour the continent to promote and market their music in markets that might not be too warm on their music or who have possible heard the music but not placed a face to the music.
Harmonize, however, has had a horrible time of it, coming to Kenya and bangling the media tour with his callous treatment of Kenyan journalists who were angered that he only gave them 3 minutes of his time.
Harmonize recently gave an interview in Tanzania and while doing so, he decried the fact that he feels like Tanzanian and indeed East African journalists and media houses do not support Bongo Flava artistes.

Harmonize did not stop there, he spoke at length about this issue which he has newly gotten passionate about now that he has a business to run, Konde Music Worldwide:
Nakupa mfano ulio hai kuna mtu anaitwa Whozu, Ana kipaji na ametoka lakini yupo katikati anawaza aende wapi?.. Achana na Whozu tu kuna mtu Marioo pia ana kipaji lakini ni watu walio kwenye wakati mgumu.
Watu kama hawawezi kuja kukwambia ila mimi msanii na wale wasanii wenzangu najua wakati walionao. Natamani sana kuona Media zinafanya kazi kwa pamoja, Inawezekana kabisa msanii wa Tanzania au Kenya akajaza ukumbi London kama wasanii wa Nigeria wanavyofanya kwa sababu tuna nafasi kubwa na tunatumia kiswahili. Lakini hatuwezi kwa sababu sisi wenyewe tunavutana huku chini.
