He took a sabbatical leave from BBC to go study for a year but that has suddenly been cut short because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking to social media, he announced that he had to leave New York.
"New York's coronavirus infection rate is 5 times higher than the rest of the country. It didn’t make sense to stay so I left " Larry posted
Reports show that Monday (yesterday) was the deadliest day in the United States' fight against Covid-19 disease with more than 100 new deaths reported.
Larry Madowo has not mentioned where he will be going to quarantine but many people in the comment section of the post have advised him not to come to Kenya. While a batch of other fans have advised him to be safe because above all things, safety comes first.
We do hope he will be safe because the rate at which the virus is spreading is unbelievable.
Here in Kenya, people have been highly advised to stay home and bars have been asked to close. The transport system has also been directed to reduce the number of passengers they are carrying per trip.
Remember to wash your hands regularly with soap and running water and stay home.
