Jalang'o who credits his fame to Papa Shirandula had an emotional interview alongside Njoro and Otoyo.
In a previous interview, he mentioned that he was given the name by Papa.
"It has been a long journey with him at work . He is the one who gave me the name Jalang'o. He is the one who called me in to work on Papa Shirundula."
During the interview on Bonga na Jalas, the three shared the great moments they shared with the late Papa.

Speaking on the day Jalang'o saw the body of Papa laying there helplessly, he knew it was real. Just thinking about how fast things were conducted from the day he breathed his last breath, he got emotional and was forced to leave the set.
Otoyo then took over the show to avoid silence on the show as Jalang'o went to get himself together.
