It has been a cry for so many years to get more black celebrities on the Emmy Award nominee list.
2020 may be a year full of so many falls but there is one win for the famous black characters we enjoy on popular series.
The list of 2020 Emmy Award nominees was released and this brought the likes of Yvonne Orji to tears - who was nominated by the way-.
According to Variety, 34.3 percent of the acting nominees are Black. There are a total of 102 acting nominees across the categories.
