Divorce is never easy. It's hard for the parents but harder on the children and Akothee's daughter Vesha Okello has her story to tell.
When Akothee and her ex husband Jared Okello broke up she was only 4-years-old could not comprehend how a couple who once loved each other could end up getting divorced.

This saw Vesha go to live with her paternal grandmother where life was not a bed of roses. Speaking during an interview with Massawe Jappani she said,
‘ I used to feel like an orphan. I would mop the house and an uncle of mine would come with muddy shoes and dirt the house. So I had to mop again.’ She said
She was not going to handle the feeling no more so she reached out to Akothee with threats.
"After threatening to kill myself if she did not come pick us up.’ She then sent my aunt Cebbie to come pick us up and we joined her (mum) in Nairobi."

Akothee's daughters may look all spoiled but they work for the best things in life. Their mother has raised them to be children who eat after they have worked. And that trait will be a plus for them as wives.
"Any man who will marry any of Akothee’s daughters will have landed a good wife, she has brought us very well." Vesha assured
