Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu has decided to venture into the entertainment industry and his first release was today.

Together with his close friends and family, they have been pushing this song for while on social media and on the 19th f August, many Kenyans were counting down.

The song, Nishikilie is a prayer to God asking Him to hold him down because God knows what he has been through.

Machozi yangu Baba Ni wewe wanifuta Ni wewe wanipanguza Ni wewe waniinua Baba... Ni wewe waniinua Baba...(You dry away my tears ooh Lord and it is you ooh Lord who lift s me up) Reads Jowi's lyrics.

The lyrics are based on the struggles he has gone through ever since he was identified as the main suspect in the death of slain businesswoman Monica Kimani.

Psalms 31:15 and it says 'My times are in Thy hand Deliver me from the hand of the enemy And from them execute me' Jowie sents out a prayer.

It has not been easy for him and for Jacque Maribe who is also a suspect.

In her first YouTube channel episode on, The Hot Seat, she also mentioned that life took a turn for her, especially in her career. But with this new venture, she hopes to get back on her feet when it comes to political journalism.

"Jacque is at the peak of my career until then all of a sudden you just don’t know how. Life just happens and it’s like you are driving on such high speed and then you have to take an emergency brake.” she shared

Clearly they both want to start afresh life in as much as their relationship is dead.

The case is still ongoing as everyone waits for the late Monicah Kimani, her family and friends to get justice.
