There is so much talk when it comes to having the opposite sex as your best friend and if it is possible.
KissFM's Chito Ndhlovu and I are very much in line when it comes to this topic. This kind of relationship is impossible. Your partner should be your best friend. Period.
This situation is a major problem when it comes to Millenial relationships because we have adopted such kind of narratives to mask hidden feelings.

Taking to social media, Chito made it clear saying having a best friend who is not your partner is disrespectful.
"There is no such thing like me and him are really just best friends. Or 'nah fam, me and her are just best friends'. That is a lie from the pits of hell. This is why I am saying this because there is information you will tell your partner and that is why they have to be your best friend. That information belongs to your partner. But if someone else is having that information, then you, my friends will have a big problem It is disrespectful to have an opposite-sex best friend."
