The entertainment industry in Kenya is suffering and their one cry to the President is to be fair.

It's been over six months and so many of them have been living with little to no form of income after the pandemic, COVID-19 hit the country. Clubs have been closed, events cancelled and social distancing has been the norm. All this was according to the directives issued by the government.

The past few weeks has seen Kenya in a very intense political space. With insults been thrown left right and center and more to that, campaigns have started for the famous BBI. Yet it is just 2020, elections is in two years' time.

Campaigns mean crowds in different areas the politicians travel. And if you have been keen on watching the news, the crowds are massive. This breaks the hearts of suffering celebrities depend on events and clubs for their income.

Their major question is, why is it political rallies can go on but events can't? Same concept different agenda.

Their cry is simple, Uhuru Kenyatta, 'open the entertainment world like you have the political world.'

A few artistes have taken to social media to air their grievances.
