'Jalang'o is more than a boss to me,' - Masauti

Ali Mohammed, popularly known as Masauti has revealed that Jalang'o has been more than a boss to him.

Speaking in an interview with Massawe Japanni, the Mombasa based artist, says that he is more than grateful to Jalang'o for how he has stood with him.

"Akina Jalas niliwasumbua sana kabla wanishike mkono,  Jalas ni zaidi ya manager kwangu kwani amesimama nami sana kimziki," said Masauti.

He added,

Ipepete ilifanya vizuri sana na nashukuru kina Jalas, Motif di don walifanya nikajulikana zaidi kwani 2019 ndio nilipata breakthrough after nimefanya remix na khaligraph."

How did he get to work with Khaligraph?

In fact Khaligraph himself called producer Motif and said he wanted to do a collabo with me.

He did a verse and since he loved the song he offered to sponsor for the video shoot. Mimi namshukuru sana kwani sio rahisi msanii mwenzako kukusimamia ivo.

The 25-year old has attributed his success for being aggressive and also for making the decision to travel to Nairobi rather than rely on coastal market.

The fast rising star is just fresh from releasing a new jam 'Burudani' and is currently trending on Youtube with over 130,000 views.
