Clark Middleton who plays as Glen “Jellybean” Carter, on NBC's hit show The Blacklist, is dead at 63.
Middleton, an actor, writer and producer contracted West Nile virus which has no known cure.
Elissa, Clark's wife broke the sad news and according to Variety, she wrote, "With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a life eminently worthy of celebration: Clark Tinsley Middleton, 63 - beloved actor, writer, director, teacher, hero, husband, beacon, friend. "
Using her late husband's Twitter account, Elissa wrote;
Hi. Elissa here, Clark's wife. Thank you for your love and support for My Mister. I cannot count the number of times he said "Give the world your best and the best will come back to you," quoting his father Mel. And he meant it! He is in the light, happy and free, and sends love.
As a 'Blacklist' fan, I am sad. Glenn who played as Raymond Reddington's most trusted lead investigator brought a much needed comical relief to the show just by how he nagged Reddington.
What many don't know is that Middleton was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when he was just 4-years-old.
He however defied many odds and left behind a legacy thanks to his incredible works.
Middleton is also known for his roles in Snowpiercer, Twin peaks, American gods, agents of S.H.I.E.L.D among many others.
