Jacque Maribe and Eric Omondi really tried to keep their relationship a secret but there is always that guy to dish out juice or tea as we call it now.
They both went to Daystar University and that is where their friendship began which grew into something deeper. They then became parents to a very handsome boy.
Speaking to True Love Magazine, Jacque Maribe had a lot to reveal. Some truths needed to be said as she graced the cover of the magazine.
“People had a field day guessing, saying my son was Dennis’ child, some said it was some politician’s kid, until one of Eric’s friends let it out that we had been dating. So when he was put on the spot, he jumped ship,”
Her relationship with Eric Omondi was a subject of concern. From how it started to them getting a baby and Jacque raising him all alone.
"Eric and I were very good friends for about five years before we made the decision to cross that line and start dating. By the time we realized that we were expecting, I was very excited. I really wanted a baby and had gone through all the motions of trying to get one. I was at a space where this was what I wanted and was genuinely actively working towards it." She told True Love
According to Maribe, Eric wasn't ready to be a serious boyfriend let alone a father to their son. He was still deep into his career and all that came with it.
" I think for Eric and his career, he wasn’t very sure about the path he should take. Like do we do this and have a baby together? Not speaking ill of him, but at that time he had this ‘ladies man’ image, there was no space for a child in that mix.” The former news anchor added
