Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz has revealed that before he ventured into music he used to do manual works to make ends meet.
Speaking exclusively to Wasafi Media on Tuesday, Diamond revealed this when he was asked to advice normal mwananchi from his Tandale town, who is working hard to make it in life.
"As youths I believe mighty God brought us here so that we can prosper, He did not create us to suffer," the Wasafi CEO said.
Before I got here I used to work in a factory where I used to pack things. I used to make 2000 Tanzania shillings.
I have worked as a petrol station attendant, I have done photography and I have also sent second hand clothes." Diamond said to prove that he is a real hustler who started from nothing and never chose any hustle.
Asked whether he is eyeing a political seat in the future Diamond was coy about it and said that he doesn't see himself joining politics in future.
He however said what he is doing is just showing his undying support to anyone whom he thinks will help the people of Tanzania.
