Many celebrities have mentioned time and time again that their dream is to be featured in a song by Diamond Platnumz aka the Wasafi crew, but not Mejja.
Speaking in a podcast interview with The Kenyan Entrepreneur, he revealed he has a dream of taking over Africa Musically just not the expected way.
"My dream is to capture Africa just not the way everyone expects him to. Just the other day I got a call from Willy M Tuva because I refused to collaborate with guys from Wasafi(Diamond Platnumz and his crew). He was so surprised that I refused to do a song with Wasafi. I want to do things differently. " Mejja said
Adding that he felt the way he was approached was not right.
"I really respect the Wasafi guys and their hustle but I feel like the way I was approached on Instagram it is as if he is doing me a favor and it was on text now imagine if it was face to face? I would have punched him (laughing)"
Let's be honest, Mejja has managed to be one of the most celebrated and sort after Kenyan artistes on his own. No endorsement.
Probably why he is like no please! We have seen him work with underground artistes and the songs have become hit songs.
