A few days ago, social media was awash with Kenyan netizens opening up on toxic work places.

Many people have found themselves stuck in their jobs just because they get to put food on the table at the end of the month, also given Kenya's high unemployment rate.

For this, they are willing to endure all sorts of mental torture from their employers and employees, compromising their happiness, just to avoid being jobless or broke.

Diana Rachel and Annitah Raey, both media personalities called it quits owing to toxic work places.

After watching the video above, many flooded the comment section to open up on what they have been going through, with many sharing similar experiences.

Below are some of their reactions which shed a lot of light on many Kenyan bosses;

One syoki: Many people say that ni ngumu kupata kazi which is true but sometimes resigning also is very much okay....wenye mnasema kuresign ni kucheza na kazi..seems like hamjawai kuwa employed na bosses who suck all the energy from you

Emmie: toxic environment can shorten someone's life guys😥if you have not experienced it just leave this lady alone....!!

Esther: Have you noticed the trend with people resigning from Ebro Tv, what’s really going on there? Joan, then Lydia, now her. Strange, I suppose

Gracee Karimi: Sometime the rubbish you put up with some working place is not even worth rising early to go to. Relationship and work toxicity is one and the you get to deal with people for hours. Compromise with rubbish until you tired of the rubbish itselefu

Matolo: I understand that feeling because my last time being employed by someone else the job environment was so toxic till I was having problems sleeping at night
