Cast members from the musical comedy series Glee have come together in honor of their late cast mate Naya Rivera.
They are fundraising in memory of Naya who died in July after accidentally drowning during a boat trip with her son at Lake Piru. Her son survived after she pushed him in the boat before she disappeared in the water.
The fundraiser is being branded the 'Snixxmas Charity Drive', and all proceeds are set to benefit the Los Angeles-based charity organization Alexandria House.
The late Naya Rivera was previously a patron of the organization, which aims to aid in the transition of women and children from an emergency shelter living situation into more permanent housing.
As of Friday, the campaign had raised $36,200 with a goal of getting to of its $50,000.
Her fellow cast members from Glee have put together a video of them reading out various parts of the fundraiser's description.
