Larry Madowo, BBC North America Correspondent did not come to play fam, he has been bagging one win after the other and we are here for it.
In 2019, New African Magazine named him among 100 Most Influential Young Africans in their Africa Youth Awards.
This year for the second time the magazine has recognize Larry Madowo among influential Africans.
They released the list of Most Influential Africans 2020 and the man from Siaya was part of the list.
In a post he shared on social media, Larry said he felt encouraged after being recognized among great individuals on the list.
“I’m so stoked to be recognized among such great Africans for the second time! Thank you 🙏🏾” he said.
Others named in the list include Burna Boy, Afua Hirsch, Aisha Yesufu, John Boyega, Michaela Coel, Sadio Mane, Strive Masiyiwa, Tidjane Thiam, Vanessa Nakate, Vera Songwe, William Kentridge. Just to mention a few.
Barely two months ago, Larry Madowo had the privilege of interviewing Bill Gates,. It is not easy to bag such an interview but nothing is stopping him.
He may have gone through a small bump on the road this year when he decided to leave New York after cases of coronavirus victims were rising at an alarming rate.
Now all he is doing is working towards one win after the other. Congratulations Mr. Madowo.
