I am sure you have gotten a call from fraudsters with so much time on their hands, attempting to con you off money or information. They call you claiming to be working with a certain bank or phone line company.

Luckily there are ways to stop them.

So Anne Kiguta may have fallen victim to a con that cost her, her phone line. Taking to social media, she announced that someone somewhere has been using her number. So this was a warning that for the last 48 hours, she has not had access to her line.

"#PSA I lost control of my @SafaricomPLC line sometime within the last 48 hours. l am yet to get a clear answer as to what "hitch" led to my "inactive" line. I'm taking precautions to warn if you have received communication from my line during that period IT WAS NOT ME!" Anne Kiguta said

She disabled the comment section to avoid being overwhelmed because you can imagine what is going through her mind, too much stress. After losing your line and even worse, having someone contact her people and she has no control over it. So be warned.
