But what most forget is that we have eagle-eyed social media cops whose job is to observe what those people are doing on social media.
The same happened to Maureen Waititu when one fan observed she was rocking a fake Chanel dress.
The Chanel on Waititu's dress which is printed all over, happens to be written 'Cahenl'
The Instagram follower who noticed the weird spelling wrote;
'Is that Chinese Chanel?' to which Waititu replied; 'bora imefunika' loosely translated to 'as long it covers'
