This week, the world was introduced to Tessica Brown,  from Louisiana who just wanted to lay her hair into a cute ponytail but it all went wrong.

“My hair, it don’t move. I washed my hair 15 times and it don’t move.” She said in a video she shared

She used a can of Gorilla Glue spray adhesive instead of normal hair glue and it refused to come off. She had to go in for a four hour surgery to get her hair back to normal.

A good number of people genuinely felt bad and wanted to help the poor woman while others were just out to mock her situation.

One of the sympathetic people was Dr. Michael Obeng.

Brown’s trip to her local doctor appeared not to solve the glue problem. She later chopped off her ponytail and announced on Instagram that she was catching a flight to Los Angeles to get help with her scalp.

Dr. Michael Obeng removed the glue during a four-hour surgery in L.A. The plastic surgeon reportedly did the surgery for free, according to TMZ and used a combination of medical-grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and acetone to dissolve the glue.

Lesson learned. But we are glad she is okay. That situation was not easy for her at all.
