Eric Omondi got on the wrong side of the law according to KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua, and last we checked, manz was arrested.
On Wednesday night Eric Omondi’s two contestants from Wife Material season two were arrested for causing a disturbance, jailed overnight then were released the next day.
According to a press statement put out by the Kenya Film Classification Board, DCI arrested Eric Omondi for violating the provisions of the films and stage plays act cap 222 of the laws of Kenya by producing and distributing unauthorized films dubbed 'Wife Material'.
After his release, Eric Omondi took to social media with a statement cancelling Wife Material season 2.
"To all the AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS (EAST AFRICAN) ladies who participated in #WifeMaterial2 THAAANK YOU🙏🙏🙏 You are ANGELIC.🇰🇪🇹🇿🇺🇬 You can be sure Season three will be BIGGER, BETTER, CLEANER😉😉😉😊😊😊 and will be the BIGGEST THING AFRICA HAS EVER SEEN."
This statement came after an apology he wrote to Dr. Ezekiel Mutua referring to him as his good friend.

I completely agree with him and I have sent him a personal apology. Sherlyne Anyango who was among the contestants who participated in the show posted a video of her with her other contestant saying she will miss those ladies and the life they lived under Eric Omondi.
