Most of us did not make new year resolutions after what hit us last year. We are afraid of setting goals just incase the pandemic decides otherwise.

Just when we thought things were getting better, another 'lockdown' was announced last week. So we have to go back to the drawing board and plan life accordingly because we do not know how long this will last.

With that in mind, Lillian Muli has decided to make a few changes in her life that are all about her. It is time to take care of herself.

Taking to social media, she listed them down saying,

"Yesterday my friend called me and as we were chatting and catching up she asked me how I am? I told her I want to start taking good care of myself. Truth is I feel like I have always put everyone else before me (and that's ok) but now I want to take time to be good to myself. Eat right, work out, spend time falling in Love with myself and learning what I am all about. Being clear on what I want and what I don't want, what I like and what I don't like. I just want to do me. For those of you who religiously work out I see your effort and I am in awe of your consistency. Please share tips on how to stay focused and consistent."

Health and fitness coach, Shiv Simani formerly of Just GymIt advised her saying,

"Make it a meeting you can’t miss. Block out your calendar."

I think that is the best advise not only for Lillian Muli but for us all because with the lockdown and working from home there will be a lot of eating, sleeping and sitting.
