BET has announced the nominees for The BET Awards 2020 and it features some familiar faces including Tanzania's Diamond Platnumz.
Diamond is the only East African artist recognized by BET and will be battling with Nigeria's, Burna Boy and Wizkid for the best international act award.
Other international artists who will be gunning for the same gong include; Aya Nakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil) Headie One (Uk), Young T & Bugsey (Uk) and Youssoupha (France).
After hosting a successful virtual event in 2020, this year's event will have a live audience and will be held on June 27 from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby lead this year's nominations tally with 7 nominations each.
Cardi B and Drake follow closely with 5 nominations each with Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Chloe X Halle, and Chris Brown each receiving four nods.
