The past week has seen several female celebrities come out to reveal that they are members f the lgbtq.
Makena Njeri revealed this for the first time in a TED Talk saying she has finally accepted herself for being different and bold.
"I remember for the first time in my life after very many years looking at myself in the mirror and I said to myself, I am gay, I am unique and this is my truth. This was a victory for me without knowing it would be a journey to boldness," Said Makena as she revealed her truth.

With her new organization, Bold Network Africa, she has influenced a lot of other Kenyans to come out boldly because they have a solid support system in her, her organization and the members.
