If there is one thing Kenyans miss, it definitely has to be being out there and having a good time at an event.
But at the end of the day, we need to be careful when it comes to combating the covid-19 pandemic. And sadly, the long-awaited Made In Kenya concert has been postponed.
In an official statement by the organizers, they have given a new date.
"AIZNIAZ ENTERTAINMENT as the organizers of the Made in Kenya Experience concert supports the government efforts in combating the Covid-19 pandemic and is keen on adhering to the Ministry of Health guidelines by ensuring the concert is a covid-19 free zone.
Bearing this in mind we would wish to announce that after careful consideration with all stakeholders involved, organizers, artists, vendors, sponsors and partners we shall be postponing the concert to a new date which will be on 28th August 2021."
Adding that,
"We are determined to pioneer the appropriate model of post covid-19 Concerts Which include only Tested (atleast 72Hours before) and/ or vaccinated attendees being allowed access to our events which has been adopted globally. The logistics involved require adequate time to be able to achieve the goal of testing all artists, attendees, vendors, staff and different suppliers in order to give attendees a chance of maximizing their experience while at the venue without being worried about their health safety."
