Davido and Nicki Minaj have a hit song, 'Holy Grond' from his album, 'A Better Time' that has now 6.6 million views in just nine months.
In a recent interview with Power FM, he opened up on his relationship with American rapper, Nicki Minaj and her contribution towards the success of his album.
"Nicki Minaj is a diligent person who doesn’t play with her craft. I texted Nicki Minaj on Instagram and received a response from her. She promised to provide her verse in two days and kept her word. Nicki Minaj is a very attentive person regardless of her vocation or personality, and she is very attentive that is how she gives the very best."
The album consists of 17-tracks through Davido Worldwide Entertainment/Sony Music U.K./RCA Record. He recorded it in Lagos, Nigeria during the global COVID-19 lockdown as of March.
Before the release of the song, there were rumors that the song was leaked. Nicki Tweeted and said that we should all calm down because the song that was leaked is not the original one.
